This certification is aimed at beauty professionals and certifies complementary skills to their profession, enabling them to acquire all the techniques involved in nail beauty, in compliance with hygiene rules and protocols.

Test procedures :

Reconstituted work situation with oral presentation

- 30min oral

- 3 hours practical training

Course prerequisites :

A diploma in aesthetics. At least a CAP in aesthetics.

And/or have 2 years' professional experience in the beauty sector.

And have a career plan related to the certification you are aiming for.

A placement test is carried out prior to the course to validate the prerequisites and ensure that the candidate's career plan is in line with the distance learning Nail Prosthesis course.

Professional skills : 

C1. Gathering information necessary for the preparation of the Nail prosthesis the customer's requirements in order to precisely identify their Expectations, the needs where appropriate, the advisor in the feasibility of this request (sanitary and budgetary aspects), by carrying out an initial diagnostic interview and recording the information gathered on a customer file.

C2. Present the full range of services to the customers available at the beauty salon, so that we can offer them a complete range of nail Sustainable and quality service, adapted to your needs (nail care, modelling or decoration), their needs, and the characteristics of their nails and hands (Nail morphology and care) based on the diagnosis previously carried out and recorded in the customer file.

C3. Organise your workspace to provide a nail care service complies with professional health and safety standards, It also takes into account environmental responsibility and the specific needs of the customer (whether disabled or not) when preparing the products and materials needed to provide the service.

C4. Carrying out nail treatments comply with customer requirements (nail prostheses, nail extensions, French manicure and/or varnish application) with the aim of ensuring quality service in a caring environment that is attentive to the customer's well-being, explaining how the service is to be provided and the various stages of the technique used in a structured, clear manner that is adapted to the different communication situations encountered (particularly if disabled).

C5. Perform nail preparation operations to ensure the application, adhesion and perfect hold of the treatment to be carried out by applying the appropriate operational protocol (preparation of natural nails, nail corrections according to the situation encountered).

C6. Using nail art techniques adapted to the treatment to be carried out with the aim of providing a professional quality service in accordance with the customer's request, respecting the various essential stages and carrying out the appropriate technical gestures related to nail modelling (use of resin, gel, acrygel or natural nails (French manicure)).

C7. Using techniques of «Nails Art» appropriate to the treatment situation in order to create decorations adapted to the nails and offer a variety of effects, respecting the customer's request and the different processes associated with these techniques.

C8. Carry out cleaning and disinfection operations of the hands, tools, equipment and workstation used, at the end of each nail care service, in order to guarantee that the service is carried out in a sanitary manner and to maintain the equipment in a usable condition by systematically applying the hygiene protocol in force.

C9. Promote the services provided, to develop customer loyalty by using a variety of communication channels adapted to the objectives being pursued.
