    An extension of the gaze, eyelashes are small hairs implanted on the edges of the eyelids. They help protect the eyes from external aggressions. Eyelashes have a triple function: protection, expression, and seduction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Considered a \u00abbarrier\u00bb, they retain impurities and foreign bodies (such as dust). Much like certain blinds, they reduce sunlight and also catch sweat droplets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    How long does an eyelash live?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    An eyelash has a lifespan of 60 to 90 days. Upper eyelashes are more numerous than lower eyelashes: 120 to 200 for upper eyelashes compared to 50 to 150 for lower eyelashes. They are also longer: 6 to 12 mm for upper eyelashes and 4 to 6mm for lower eyelashes. They grow in several rows. The lifespan of an eyelash also varies depending on age, lifestyle, makeup, makeup removal, and medical treatments...<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What are eyelash extensions?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Eyelash extensions involve applying synthetic lashes to your natural lashes. They can be made of silk, mink, faux mink, cashmere, and so on. The application is done lash by lash using a specific adhesive. Eyelash extensions do not touch the skin; they are placed 2mm from the root of the natural lashes. They are in contact with only one natural lash at a time. They come in different colours, lengths, and thicknesses. The goal of extensions is to provide you with volume and length.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    How long do eyelash extensions last?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The results last for 3 to 4 weeks. The eyelash extensions fall out along with the natural lashes. The extensions fall out gradually. It takes up to 8 weeks for all the extensions to fall out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    For individual lash extensions: 50 to 80 lashes per eye for a natural look, 90 to 120 lashes per eye for a made-up effect, 130 to 150 lashes per eye for an intense effect.<\/p>\n\n\n

    L’extension de cils consiste \u00e0 appliquer des cils synth\u00e9tiques sur vos cils naturels. Ils peuvent \u00eatre en soie, en vison, en faux-vison, en cachemire…. L’application se fait cil par cil \u00e0 l’aide d’une colle sp\u00e9cifique. Les extensions de cils ne touchent pas la peau, elles sont pos\u00e9s \u00e0 2mm de la racine des cils. Elles sont en contact avec un seul cil \u00e0 la fois. Il en existe de diff\u00e9rentes couleurs, taille et grosseurs. L’objectif de l’extension est de vous apporter volume et longueur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Le r\u00e9sultat tient 3 \u00e0 4 semaines. L’extension de cils tombe avec le cil naturel. Les extensions tombent petit \u00e0 petit. Il faut maximum 8 semaines pour que toutes les extensions tombent.       Regarding hygiene, each metal instrument (eyelash extension tweezers) must be disinfected after each client (anti-fungal, virucidal, and antibacterial wipes). Your equipment must also be sterilised at least once a week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      What is sterilisation?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Sterilisation eliminates living microorganisms from your equipment. This is because we have different germs that reside in the roots of the eyelashes. Most of the time, these are harmless and do not transmit diseases. However, they can cause itching, eyelid inflammation, eye infections, skin problems, etc. Instruments such as brushes, cleansing pads, glue rings, patches, and mascara brushes are single-use!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The table<\/strong> :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      A massage table is suitable as long as you position yourself at one of the ends. You need good visibility and must adhere to hygiene rules. To prevent infectious agents (e.g. dirty shoes) from embedding in the table, it is advisable to wear shoe covers or place an examination sheet at the end of the table. The linen protecting the table must be clean and changed between each client. Your client will be lying down during the extension application, so their comfort must be considered. You can place a rolled towel or a small cushion under their head. Furthermore, your work will be made easier as the client's head will be slightly tilted backwards, thus giving you better access to the lashes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The technician<\/strong> :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Your outfit must be clean and stain-free. It is best to tie back long hair. Your hands must always be well-kept, clean, sanitised, and manicured. Your hands are like instruments; they carry so many bacteria and diseases. It goes without saying that to successfully apply a treatment, you must not tremble. The number one enemy of the hand: caffeine! If you've had two cups of coffee before a service, your movements will not be steady enough for you to work effectively in a minimum of time. Let's not forget that great precision is required, as you are working to the millimetre. Your breath must be fresh; no coffee, alcohol, or tobacco before a service!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The client<\/strong> : Il est pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable de demander \u00e0 votre cliente avant la s\u00e9ance de venir d\u00e9maquill\u00e9e, vous gagnerez du temps pour l’\u00e9tape de nettoyage. Si ce n’est pas le cas vous d\u00e9maquillerez votre cliente. Les cils naturels doivent \u00eatre secs, propres et non gras avant la pose. Si votre cliente porte des lentilles conseillez lui de les enlever avant la s\u00e9ance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Safety regulations<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      We will be working on the client's eyes, so extreme caution is required. Avoid any contact between product (glue, primer, remover) and the eyes. However, if this should occur, rinse the client's eyes with warm water or a pipette of saline solution for 15 minutes to remove all traces of product. As a safety measure, advise the client to consult a doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Eyelash hygiene <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

      Blepharitis <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      How do you catch that?<\/em> It can be either microbial or chronic. In most cases, for eyelash extension wearers, it is due to poor maintenance of the ciliary area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      We have mites that live symbiotically on our eyelashes; they are essential for their balance. However, DEMODEX mites can multiply abnormally, leading to inflammation at the base. It is possible to suffer from chronic or microbial blepharitis without wearing eyelash extensions. This is why, when wearing eyelash extensions, you must be extra vigilant and maintain good hygiene. Symptoms include small crusts and itching (sometimes redness and swelling).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The risk<\/strong> This leads to a weakening of your natural lashes; furthermore, with the weight of your extensions, they will tend to fall out faster => loss of your REAL lashes. How can this be prevented?<\/em> You need to clean your extensions with saline solution or shampoo specifically for eyelash extensions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      To avoid this, use a specific eyelash shampoo before each application or refill.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

      Allergies<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

      You must examine the client's eyes either during the first appointment or before the session. In the presence of a sign of allergy or a symptom, you must convince the client to forgo lash application to prevent the condition from worsening. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

La cliente a peut-\u00eatre une inflammation qu\u2019il faut traiter m\u00e9dicalement. La pose de cils ne ferait qu\u2019aggraver le cas. La fiche d\u2019information compl\u00e9t\u00e9e avec la cliente vous donnera imm\u00e9diatement la liste des allergies et des maladies qu\u2019elle a contract\u00e9es<\/p>\n\n\n\n


                    Eye health problems are of great concern to you. In the case of acne, atopic dermatitis, reactions to cosmetics, to glue (especially when in contact with adhesive strips), asthma, or any other common eye problem, you are required to seek medical advice. You must also discuss this with the client to present the potential risks and obtain their consent to apply lashes as planned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                    As a general rule, before the session, you must ensure that the client's eyes show no visible signs of infection, such as scales, discharge, or very dry eyes. In such circumstances, we strongly urge you not to proceed with the application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                    Even with the best planning, an unforeseen problem, a situation previously unknown, can always arise. You must prepare for it and remain constantly vigilant. You must always have the following three items readily available: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

La diff\u00e9rence entre chacune est le temps de s\u00e9chage, la couleur de la colle (transparente ou noire), la texture (liquide ou cr\u00e9meuse). Au d\u00e9but de l’apprentissage, vous utiliserez une colle \u00e0 s\u00e9chage lent (2secondes) puis lorsque vous aurez acquis une certaine dext\u00e9rit\u00e9, vous passerez \u00e0 un s\u00e9chage plus rapide. (0.3s, 0.5s, 1s) La colle doit \u00eatre conserv\u00e9e \u00e0 temp\u00e9rature ambiante dans son emballage. Lorsqu’elle est ouverte, elle doit \u00eatre utiliser dans les 2 \u00e0 3 mois.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      Before each use, shake the glue well to ensure the pigments are thoroughly mixed. Discard the first drop, as it may oxidise with air. Monitor the consistency of your glue; if it thickens, replace it approximately every 30 minutes. Before purchasing your glue, use a thermo-hygrometer to test the temperature and humidity levels in your workspace to avoid retention issues. If it is too hot, change your glue bond every 10 minutes. Absolutely never use candles or essential oils in your workspace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      Comment calculer le poids pour le volume russe<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

                      La technique volume russe c’est des \u00e9ventails 2D a 9D d\u00e9pendent du sant\u00e9 du cil naturelle, le diam\u00e8tre d’extensions qu’ont utilisent varie selon le look d\u00e9sirer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      Le \u00ab\u00a03D\u00a0\u00bb \u00ab\u00a0pose russe\u00a0\u00bb \u00ab\u00a0pose volume\u00a0\u00bb ne sont pas des techniques diff\u00e9rentes, m\u00eame si beaucoup de techniciennes pensent que oui. Le 3D veut dire 3 extensions dans \u00e9ventails qui est du volume russe. Donc le bon mot est la technique est volume russe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      Le volume russe n’est pas calculer en poids 1+ 1 + 1= 3. Donc 4 x 0.05 n’\u00e9quivaut pas \u00e0 1 x 0.20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      Volume russe est fait en cr\u00e9ant des bouquets avec des extensions 0.03\/0.04\/0.05\/0.06\/0.07\/0.10 mais ceci n’est pas un poids. Ceci est la DIAMETRE d’ extension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      Le poids de les extensions peuvent \u00eatre calculer en gramme. Voici une charte de poids:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      0.20 = 0.00030g 0.15 = 0.00015g 0.10 = 0.00007g 0.06 = 0.00005g 0.05 = 0.00002\/3g Donc si on veut cr\u00e9er un \u00e9ventail 5D en 0.06 voici le calcul: 5 x 0.00005g = 0.00025g Alors, on peut dire que 5D en 0.06 est moins lourd sur le cil naturelle que 1 x 0.20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      • Si le cils naturel de votre client fait un diam\u00e8tre = ou inf \u00e0 0,07, vous pourrez poser maximum en 0,07 en 2D, en 0,06 en 3D ou 0,05 en 4D.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                      • Si le cils naturel de votre client fait un diam\u00e8tre 0,10, vous pourrez poser maximum en 0,10 en 2D, en 0,07 en 3D, en 0,06 en 4D ou 0,05 en 5D.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
